Meet Felicha!
Master Facilitator & Founder and Principal of Empowerment SpaTM

"I want to reveal to people just how smart, talented, and gifted they truly are.
I want to help people release their self-confidence to pursue their dreams
I want to show people that they have the courage to live an authentic life.

I want to help organizations achieve greater employee engagement through better talent management and quality of leadership excellence. I want to see people impress themselves as they begin to tap into their full power and greatness.

This is the work for which God has especially designed me, and I am honored to be entrusted with such talent and meaningful work. I am grateful for each and every guest with whom I interact. My personal mission is to be an excellent steward of what I have been given and blessed to experience. I appreciate my life triumphs and challenges because all of those experiences reveal God's unconditional love as well as my ability to rise again and again, as long as I don't give up!" All the best, Felicha

The Nitty Gritty

Felicha was raised by a young single mother, her love-rich maternal family, and a community of family friends and helpful neighbors. Well educated by family and public school teachers, Felicha excelled in all things "human communication" and later earned academic scholarships and won oratorical competitions, which helped fund her undergraduate education as she pursued a bachelor's degree in English and communication.

Wanting a deeper level of expertise and greater income potential, Felicha later earned a traditional master's degree in human resource development, during which time she was awarded the distinguished nomination as "Graduate Student of the Year".

In 2004, after more than 13 successful years of traditional business and leadership experience across the private, public, and nonprofit sectors, Felicha launched Empowerment Spa, a training services company. She has held management positions within Fortune 500 companies, coached executive leaders, designed innovative solutions for talent development, and is a sought-after speaker for groups and organizations interested in self-empowerment and personal growth, work-life balance, business greatness, leadership excellence, diversity strategies, self-confidence, and motivation.

Felicha has also served as an adjunct management professor at the historical Fisk University in Nashville, TN and is active on several local community boards of organizations that advocate for the self-sufficiency and empowerment of underserved, disadvantaged citizens.

"People often say that it doesn't matter where you start from, it just matters where you end up. I disagree. Coming from where I'm from, it absolutely matters.  The Grace, the Goodness, the Grief, and the Gifts that are the journey called life evolve to become your personal testimony.  Your past doesn't predict your future and doesn't dictate who you can become. It does, however, have the force to help you soar higher and faster...as long as you remember where you started from.
It absolutely matters - to look back and see how much you've done in and with your life.
It absolutely matters -  to understand the depth of the valleys you came up out of, in spite of yourself and others.
It absolutely matters - to realize the heights of the mountains you climbed and to say "Thank You" for God's grace.
Everything about your life absolutely matters.
It reinforces that you are built to last. Don't give up! Keep on getting better."
