Felicha earned a traditional master's degree in human resource development (HRD) in 1997, during which time she also earned a distinguished nomination for Graduate Student of the Year for her academic excellence, field research, and innovative work in HRD.
After more than 13 successful years of traditional business experience across the private, public, and nonprofit sectors, Felicha embarked upon the next level of her professional and personal journey when she stepped out on faith to fulfill her purpose-driven dream to help people more fully utilize their talent. Empowerment Spa, Inc. was conceived in 2002 and formally established in 2004.
Felicha has also served as an adjunct business and management professor at the historical Fisk University in Nashville. Since 1990, she has been an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. the first organization of college-educated black women dedicated to community service.
